The SL170x Series is a low-power, omnipolar Hall effect switch sensor designed for space-constrained and battery-sensitive systems. It offers various magnetic field thresholds, switching frequencies, and package options to suit diverse applications. The sensor detects both South and North poles, activating at a specific magnetic field strength (BOP) and deactivating when the field drops below the release point (BRP). Featuring internal temperature compensation and clock logic for stable operation, it provides omnipolar magnetic response with minimal current consumption. The sensor operates within a wide voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V and is available in standard SOT-23-3L and TO-92S packages. It is ideal for applications such as laptop and tablet switch detection, TWS earbuds, mobile phones, electronic locks, valve position sensing, water meters, gas meters, flow meters, and general non-contact detection.
