DS18B20 Programmable Resolution 1-Wire Temperature Sensor
The DS18B20 is a digital thermometer providing 9 to 12-bit resolution temperature measurements. It features a unique 64-bit serial number, multi-point distributed temperature sensing capability, and a user-definable non-volatile temperature alarm setting. Communication is achieved via a single 1-Wire port, requiring only one data pin. It can be powered directly from the data line (2.5V to 5.5V) or through an external power supply. The temperature measurement range is -55C to +125C (-67F to +257F), with an accuracy of 0.4C in the -10C to 70C range. Temperature conversion speed is less than 750ms at 12-bit precision. It offers robust electrostatic discharge protection (HBM 8000V, MM 800V) and is available in MSOP8, SOP8, TO-92, and TO-92S packages.
