ZRE200GE Pyroelectric Sensor
The ZRE200GE is a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor designed for high-performance motion detection applications. It features dual sensing elements behind a spectral filter window tuned to 8-13m wavelength, providing excellent EMI immunity and blocking unwanted IR energy. The sensor is available in a standard TO-5 package with two lead length options.

Design Restrictions and Precautions: Designed for indoor use. For outdoor applications, use supplementary optical filters and a waterproof enclosure. Implement fail-safe functionality in designs where operation failure or malfunctions could lead to secondary accidents.
Usage Restrictions and Precautions: Avoid rapid environmental temperature changes, strong shocks or vibrations, obstructions to infrared rays (glass, fog), fluids, corrosive gases, sea breezes, continual high-humidity conditions, direct sunlight, automobile headlights, and forced-air currents from heaters or air conditioners to prevent malfunctions or performance degradation.
Handling and Storage Restrictions and Precautions: Avoid prolonged vibrations, strong shocks, static electricity, strong electromagnetic waves, high temperature and humidity over extended periods, corrosive gases, sea breezes, and dirty/dusty environments that may contaminate the optical window to prevent malfunctions, operational failure, appearance damage, or characteristic deterioration.
Assembly Restrictions and Precautions: Use soldering irons and avoid prolonged heat exposure on sensor pins (duration beyond 5 seconds at 350C may cause deterioration). Ensure thorough flux removal after soldering, as residual materials can cause malfunctions. Avoid using ultrasonic cleaners for washing, as this may cause operational failure.
