Product Overview

The Y6201ST is a micro-power omnipolar Hall-effect switch fabricated using mixed-signal CMOS technology. It features a Hall voltage generator, voltage regulator, sleep/awake logic for low power consumption, temperature compensation, a small-signal amplifier with dynamic offset cancellation, and a Schmitt trigger with an open-drain output. This sensor is designed to detect both north and south poles of a magnet, turning the output ON when a sufficient magnetic field is present and OFF when the field is removed. The output state is determined by magnetic flux density relative to operating (Bop) and release (Brp) points. With typical power consumption of 20W at 3.3V, it is suitable for applications requiring low power and high sensitivity.
