Product Overview
The TSSP58038 is a compact infrared detector module designed for presence sensing applications. It effectively receives 38 kHz modulated signals with a peak sensitivity at 940 nm. This module is suitable for a variety of applications, including reflective sensors for automatic dispensers and faucets, vending machine fall detection, security systems, and proximity activation. It offers a detection range of up to 2 meters for presence sensing and is shielded against EMI, with visible light suppression provided by an IR filter. The module is insensitive to supply voltage ripple and noise, operating on a supply voltage of 2.5 V to 5.5 V.
