Product Overview
The VEML3328SL is a surface-mount RGBCIR color sensor with an I2C interface. It integrates photodiodes, amplifiers, and analog/digital circuits into a single CMOS chip to sense red, green, blue, clear, and IR light. This sensor enables adjustment of display backlight brightness and color temperature based on ambient light, and can differentiate between indoor and outdoor lighting. It offers 16-bit resolution for each channel and operates within a temperature range of -40 C to +85 C with low power consumption.
