The TSOP36... series are miniaturized SMD IR receiver modules designed for infrared remote control systems. These modules integrate a PIN diode and a preamplifier on a leadframe, with an epoxy package containing an IR filter. The demodulated output signal is directly compatible with microprocessors for decoding. The TSOP364.. series is optimized to suppress spurious pulses from energy-saving lamps like CFLs, though its AGC4 may affect some data signals. The TSOP362.. series is primarily for compatibility with older AGC2 designs, while new designs should favor the TSOP364.. series with AGC4. These components are not qualified for automotive specifications.
