Product Overview
The LM75A/B/C is an industrial-standard digital temperature sensor and thermal monitor designed for general system thermal management. It offers precise temperature measurement with an error of less than 1C across its operating range of -40C to +125C, featuring good temperature linearity. The sensor supports IC communication, allowing up to eight LM75A/B/C devices on a single bus, and includes an over-temperature alarm function. Its programmable temperature limits and ALERT pin enable thermostat or over-temperature alarm functionality. The LM75A operates on a single supply voltage from +2.7V to +5.5V and is factory-calibrated, eliminating the need for additional user temperature processing. It is ideal for applications such as base stations, electronic test equipment, office electronics, and personal computers where thermal management is critical.
