The TSOP382.. and TSOP384.. series are miniaturized IR receiver modules designed for infrared remote control systems. These modules integrate a PIN diode and a preamplifier in a single package with an internal IR filter. They are optimized for remote control applications, offering low supply current and improved immunity to ambient light and supply voltage noise. The TSOP384.. series is specifically designed to suppress spurious pulses from energy-saving lamps like CFLs, while the TSOP382.. series provides compatibility with older AGC2 designs. New designs should prefer the TSOP384.. series.
