Product Overview
The VEML3235 is an advanced, low-power, high-sensitivity ambient light sensor utilizing CMOS process and an I2C protocol interface. It offers easy operation through simple I2C commands and integrates a photodiode, amplifiers, and analog circuits on a single chip. Designed to closely mimic human eye response, it features excellent temperature compensation and a robust refresh rate setting that eliminates the need for external RC low-pass filters. With a software shutdown mode reducing power consumption to less than 1 A, the VEML3235 operates within a voltage range of 2.6 V to 3.6 V and can detect a wide spectrum of ambient light. Its high ALS sensitivity, with a minimum detectable intensity of 0.0021 lx/cnt, supports low transmittance lens designs, and it provides high dynamic detection resolution.
