Functional Performance
The temperature resistance relationships of the PTS series follow specific equations according to IEC 60751:
- For -55 C up to 0 C: RT = R0 x (1 + A x T + B x T + C x (T - 100 C) x T)
- For 0 C up to +155 C: RT = R0 x (1 + A x T + B x T)
Where:
- RT: Resistance as a function of temperature
- R0: Nominal resistance value at 0 C
- T: Temperature in C
Coefficients according to IEC 60751:
- A = 3.9083 x 10 C
- B = -5.775 x 10 C
- C = -4.183 x 10 C
Tolerance classes are defined by:
- Class F0.3: TF0.3 = (0.30 + 0.005 x |T|)
- Class F0.6: TF0.6 = (0.60 + 0.010 x |T|)
