Handling and Storage Notes

Handling: The phototransistor's silicone encapsulation is soft and flexible, susceptible to mechanical damage. Use pneumatic suction nozzles and avoid applying pressure to any part of the LED during assembly. Handle with care using tweezers or appropriate tools, gripping along the side surface. Do not touch the silicone surface. Avoid stacking soldered LEDs. Do not contact with thinner, Trichloroethylene, acetone, sulfides, sodium ions, acids, alkalis, or salts, as these can cause oxidation and affect performance.

Soldering: For manual soldering, use a 20W anti-static soldering iron with tip temperature below 300 for 3 seconds, one time only. Reflow soldering is limited to one time. Do not mix different BIN materials on the same board to prevent color variation.

Cleaning: Recommend cleaning with pure alcohol after soldering. Washing, wiping, or dipping should not exceed 1 minute. Ensure other solvents do not damage the packaging.

Potting: Recommended to use neutral, alcoholic encapsulating materials. Ensure good ventilation during curing for deoximation neutral potting materials. Prohibit the use of acetic acid type (acidic) silicone rubber. Perform small-scale tests before mass production.

ESD Countermeasures: Implement anti-static measures throughout production, testing, and packaging. Use anti-static flooring, workbenches, and component boxes. Ensure all equipment is properly grounded. Operators should wear anti-static clothing, wrist straps, and gloves.

Storage: Recommended storage conditions before opening packaging: <30 / <60% RH, for one year. After opening, complete reflow soldering within 4 hours and packaging within 12 hours at <30 / <60% RH. Unused products require dehumidification before reuse (reel products: 755/12H; bulk products: 1105/1H, natural cooling 1H).
