Product Overview
The VCNL4035X01 is a fully integrated proximity and ambient light sensor with an I2C interface and interrupt function, designed for gesture applications. It combines a proximity sensor (PS), ambient light sensor (ALS), a multiplexer, and a driver for external IREDs/LEDs in a single package. Key features include high-resolution ALS, programmable interrupt functions for both ALS and PS, intelligent cancellation for proximity sensing, smart persistence for fast response times, and patented FiltronTM technology for accurate ambient light spectral sensitivity and background light cancellation. The device offers excellent temperature compensation and operates from 2.5 V to 3.6 V, packaged in a lead-free 8-pin QFN package.
