The LM75A/B/C is an industrial-standard digital temperature sensor and thermal monitor featuring an I2C serial interface. It offers precise temperature measurements with an error of less than 1C across its operating range of -40C to +125C, providing good temperature linearity. This device is suitable for various applications including general system thermal management, communication infrastructure, electronic test equipment, and environmental monitoring. Key features include operation from a single +2.7V to +5.5V supply, no external components required, a low-power shutdown mode, and the ability to connect up to eight LM75A/B/C devices on a single bus. Its programmable temperature limits and ALERT pin allow it to function as a thermostat or over-temperature alarm.
