The LM75A/B/C is an industrial-standard digital temperature sensor and thermal monitor designed for general system thermal management. It offers precise temperature sensing with an error of less than 1C across a wide operating range of -40C to +125C, featuring good temperature linearity. This device supports IC communication, allowing up to eight LM75A/B/C units to be connected on a single bus. Its programmable temperature limits and ALERT pin enable its use as a thermostat or over-temperature alarm. The LM75A operates from a single +2.7V to +5.5V power supply and is factory calibrated, eliminating the need for user temperature output processing. Ideal applications include base stations, electronic test equipment, office electronics, and PCs where thermal management is critical.
