Product Overview
The LM75A/B/C is an industrial-standard digital temperature sensor and thermal monitor featuring an I2C serial interface. It offers high accuracy with a measurement error of less than 1C across its operating range of -40C to +125C, providing good temperature linearity. This sensor is ideal for general system thermal management, communication infrastructure, electronic test equipment, and environmental monitoring. It supports a single supply voltage from +2.7V to +5.5V (LM75A) and allows up to eight LM75A/B/C devices to be connected on a single bus. The device includes a programmable temperature limit and an ALERT pin, enabling its use as a thermostat or over-temperature alarm. Factory calibrated, it requires no additional user processing for temperature output. The LM75 is available in SOIC-8 and MSOP-8 packages.
