Product Overview
The OPB960/970/980/990 series of non-contact Photologic slotted optical switches offers design engineers flexibility with customizable output logic, driver circuits, aperture widths, and mounting options. Built on a standard housing with a 0.125 (3.18mm) slot, these devices feature an opaque plastic body to minimize sensitivity to ambient light. Available with wire or PCB leads, they operate over a wide supply voltage range and utilize near-infrared (850-940nm) LED emissions. These switches are ideal for speed and direction indication, rotary encoders, mechanical switch replacement, and various position sensing applications in printers and automotive systems.
