KMXP Linear Position Sensor
The TE Connectivity KMXP position sensor utilizes Anisotropic Magneto-Resistive (AMR) technology to provide high-resolution and precise contactless linear position measurements. Designed for harsh industrial, robotic, and medical environments, it offers superior performance even when exposed to oil, dirt, and dust, and operates reliably at high temperatures up to 150C. Its advanced AMR technology provides greater precision than common Hall sensors. The sensor is available in compact DFN packages suitable for automated PCB assembly, offering design freedom with perpendicular or flat soldering options and accommodating large application air gaps. Key advantages include high accuracy (10-50 m), easy integration, and robustness against environmental contaminants.
