The STMicroelectronics VL53L4CD is a highly accurate, low-power Time-of-Flight (ToF) proximity sensor designed for short-range measurements. It offers precise distance detection from 1 mm up to 1200 mm with a 18 Field of View (FoV). This sensor excels in various ambient light conditions with a fast ranging frequency of up to 100 Hz. Its Ultralow Power (ULP) detection mode, consuming as little as 55 A, makes it ideal for battery-powered devices. The VL53L4CD features embedded on-chip processing, reducing host microcontroller load and BOM cost. It is pin-to-pin compatible with several other ST FlightSense sensors, facilitating easy integration into existing designs.
