The LM75A/B/C is an industrial-standard digital temperature sensor designed for system thermal management. It offers accurate temperature monitoring with a measurement error of less than 1 across a wide operating range of -40C to +125C. The sensor supports IC communication, allowing up to eight LM75A/B/C devices to be connected on a single bus. With its programmable temperature limits and ALERT pin, it can function as a thermostat or over-temperature alarm. Factory calibrated, the LM75A/B/C eliminates the need for additional temperature output processing, making it ideal for applications such as base stations, electronic test equipment, office electronics, and personal computers where thermal management is critical.
