Product Description
The PTF family of Platinum Thin Film (PTF) Temperature Elements are resistance temperature detectors (RTD) utilizing advanced thin film technology. They feature a structured platinum film on a ceramic substrate, protected by a glass coating and glass-covered connection wires. These RTDs comply with DIN EN 60751 and offer excellent long-term stability due to their platinum construction. Their small size and low mass result in a fast response time and low time constant, making them ideal for precise feedback control systems. Applications include temperature feedback control, white goods, industrial, automotive, and medical sectors, as well as serving as sensing elements for plug-in probes.
