Product Overview

The SL170x series are low-power Hall-effect switch sensors designed for space-constrained and battery-sensitive systems. These sensors offer a wide operating voltage range (1.8V to 5.5V) and are available with multiple magnetic threshold options (26Gs, 36Gs, 48Gs) and switch frequencies (25Hz, 100Hz, 500Hz). They provide omnipolar magnetic field detection, meaning they respond to both South and North poles of a magnet. The sensors feature CMOS push-pull outputs, excellent ESD performance (8KV HBM), and are RoHS compliant. Typical applications include switch detection in laptops and tablets, TWS earbuds, mobile phones, electronic locks, valve position sensing, water meters, gas meters, flow meters, and non-contact detection.
