Product Overview
The STK8321 is a low-profile, capacitive MEMS 3-axis linear accelerometer with digital output (I2C and SPI). It offers selectable full-scale ranges of 2g/4g/8g, with compensation for 0g offset and gain errors, and provides 12-bit digital values at user-configurable sample rates. The device features interrupt pins for sensor data change notifications, a high shock survivability of 10000g, and a small 2.0mm x 2.0mm x 1.0 mm LGA package. It is designed to operate over an extended temperature range of -40 C to +85 C and includes a sleep feature for low power consumption. Applications include display orientation, gaming, impact recognition, vibration monitoring, pedometers, activity trackers, and smart power management.
