Product Usage Precautions

  • Do not apply high voltage, as it may damage the sensor or alter its performance.
  • Avoid long-term exposure to volatile silicone compound vapors (e.g., hairspray, silicone sealants, putty), which can coat the sensitive material and cause sensor failure.
  • Prevent contact with water or liquids, as this can cause the sensitive material to peel off, leading to performance changes or failure.
  • Avoid use in highly corrosive environments (e.g., containing hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, strong bases, or alkali metal salts), as this can degrade the sensitive material and corrode electrodes, damaging the sensor.
  • Avoid use in extreme environments (e.g., prolonged use in high gas concentrations, high humidity, high temperatures, or highly polluted environments), as this can alter sensor performance.
  • Avoid strong vibrations and impacts (e.g., during transportation or from falls), which can cause sensor electrode breakage or damage.
  • For soldering, manual soldering is recommended with a temperature 250C and duration < 3 seconds. For machine soldering (e.g., wave soldering), use flux with low chlorine content, a speed of 1-2 meters/minute, a temperature of 25010C, and a single pass. If possible, apply a film to the sensor cap to prevent strong odors from affecting performance.
