Product Overview

The Si7006 I2C Humidity and Temperature Sensor is a monolithic CMOS IC that integrates humidity and temperature sensor elements, an analog-to-digital converter, signal processing, and calibration data with an I2C interface. Utilizing patented low-K polymeric dielectrics for humidity sensing, it offers low power consumption, low drift, minimal hysteresis, and excellent long-term stability. The sensor is factory-calibrated, ensuring interchangeability without recalibration. Available in a 3x3 mm DFN package, it serves as a drop-in upgrade for existing RH/temperature sensors, providing precision sensing over a wider range with lower power usage. An optional factory-installed cover offers protection during assembly and product life, excluding liquids and particulates. This sensor is ideal for measuring humidity, dew-point, and temperature in applications such as HVAC/R, thermostats, respiratory therapy, white goods, indoor weather stations, micro-environments, data centers, automotive climate control, asset tracking, and consumer electronics.
