Product Description

The Si7006 I2C Humidity and Temperature Sensor is a monolithic CMOS IC designed for accurate humidity and temperature measurements. It integrates sensor elements, an analog-to-digital converter, signal processing, calibration data, and an I2C interface. Utilizing proprietary low-K polymeric dielectrics for humidity sensing, it offers low power consumption, minimal drift and hysteresis, and excellent long-term stability. The sensor is factory-calibrated and its data is stored in on-chip non-volatile memory, ensuring interchangeability without recalibration. Available in a 3x3 mm DFN package, it's reflow solderable and can serve as a drop-in upgrade for existing RH/temperature sensors. An optional factory-installed cover provides protection against liquids and particulates. The Si7006 is ideal for applications requiring precise humidity, dew-point, and temperature measurements, including HVAC/R, thermostats, respiratory therapy, white goods, indoor weather stations, micro-environments, automotive climate control, asset tracking, and mobile devices.
