Product Overview

The SL172x Series is a high-performance, low-power Hall effect switch sensor designed for space-constrained and battery-sensitive systems. It offers selectable magnetic field thresholds, operating frequencies, and package options to suit various applications. The sensor detects a single N-pole magnetic field, providing a low output when the N-pole magnetic field strength exceeds the operating point (BOP) and a high output when it drops below the release point (BRP). Featuring built-in temperature compensation and clock logic for stable operation, it consumes minimal current while delivering reliable single N-pole magnetic response. The sensor operates within a wide voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V and is available in standard SOT-23-3L and TO-92S packages. Typical applications include switch detection in laptops and tablets, TWS earbuds, mobile phones, electronic locks, valve position sensing, and utility meters.
