Product Overview
The Senba () LDR Sensor, also known as a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR), is a semiconductor-based resistor whose conductivity changes with light intensity. This characteristic allows for the creation of light-sensitive resistors in various shapes and light-receiving areas. These sensors are widely used in industries such as toys, lighting, and cameras. Key features include good encapsulation reliability, small size, high sensitivity, fast response speed, and good spectral characteristics. Applications range from automatic camera exposure control and photoelectric control to indoor light control, alarms, industrial control, light-controlled switches, light-controlled lamps, and electronic toys.

Testing Conditions
- Maximum Applied Voltage: The maximum voltage that can be continuously applied to the component in darkness.
- Dark Resistance: Resistance value measured 10 seconds after turning off the light to 10Lux.
- Maximum Power Dissipation: Maximum power dissipation at an ambient temperature of 25.
- Resistance at 10Lux (Bright Resistance): Test value under 10Lux light using a standard light source (color temperature 2856K) after 2 hours of irradiation with 400-600Lux light.
- Gamma () Value: The logarithm of the ratio of standard resistance values at 10Lux and 100Lux illuminations. = Lg (R10/R100) / Lg (100/10) = Lg(R10/R100), where R10 and R100 are the resistance values at 10Lux and 100Lux illuminations respectively (tolerance of is 0.1).
Packaging and Precautions
- This product uses environmentally friendly packaging materials. Small packages contain 100 pieces, and large packages contain 1000 pieces.
- Avoid storing the light-sensitive resistor in humid or high-temperature environments.
- Soldering time should be as short as possible.
- Ensure the lead soldering position is more than 4mm away from the ceramic base.
