Product Overview
The STK8BA58 is a low-profile, capacitive MEMS 3-axis linear accelerometer with a digital I2C output. It offers dynamically selectable full-scale ranges of 2g, 4g, or 8g, with 12-bit digital conversion at user-configurable sample rates from 14 to 2000 samples per second. The device features compensation for 0g offset and gain errors, a high shock survivability of 10000g, and on-chip interrupt generation for motion detection (new data, any-motion, significant motion). It operates over an extended temperature range (-40C to +85C) and is available in a compact 2.0mm x 2.0mm x 1.0mm LGA package, supporting low-power consumption through a sleep feature.
