Product Overview
The Airpax 6600 series is a RoHS compliant, positive snap action, single pole/single throw, sub-miniature bimetallic thermostat. It offers accurate and reliable sensing and switching in a compact, 8-pin DIP package suitable for printed circuit boards. Designed for space conservation and automated insertion, the 6600 series is sealed to withstand wave soldering and board washing. It provides fast, positive response with excellent repeatability, capable of switching up to 1 amp at 48 VDC or 120 VAC, and low-level switching down to 0.02 A at 5 VDC for 100,000 cycles. The temperature is factory pre-set and non-adjustable. Applications include computers and peripherals, aircraft, automotive, and test equipment for functions like indicator lights, alarms, or system shutdown.
