Product Overview
The SC468X is a BiCMOS process programmable linear Hall sensor chip designed for demanding industrial and automotive environments. It provides a linear analog output voltage proportional to the magnetic flux density. Key programmable parameters include quiescent voltage, sensitivity, polarity, clamp voltage, and sensitivity temperature drift compensation, all adjustable at the user terminal. The device features integrated open-circuit, over-voltage, and under-voltage detection. It supports daisy-chaining multiple SC468X sensors on a shared bus for individual calibration without interference. Programming is achieved by modulating the supply voltage, eliminating the need for an extra programming pin, which simplifies two-point calibration. The integrated temperature compensation circuit ensures high-precision output across the entire operating temperature range, adapting to various magnetic materials. Available in compact TO-92U and SOP8 packages, the SC468X operates typically at 5V and a temperature range of -40 to 150.
