It utilizes an intermittent operation method for micro power consumption, making it ideal for battery-powered devices. This ultra-compact Hall IC enables the detection of cover open/close states in smartphones and tablets, and can be used for detecting the insertion of wireless earphones into their cases, or for front/back side and rotational direction detection in digital cameras and other display panel applications.
