Product Overview
The SC4001 is a low-cost, linear Hall effect sensor IC designed for applications requiring proportional output voltage to magnetic field strength. It features a wide operating voltage range of 4.5-5.5V, current source output, low noise without external filtering, and a broad operating temperature range of -40 to 125. Its excellent linearity and robust design against mechanical stress make it suitable for motor control, position sensing, current detection, magnetic stripe reading, ferrous metal detection, and weighing/level detection. Available in TO-92S and SOT23-3 packages, the SC4001 is an economical solution for commercial, consumer, and industrial markets.
