The Renesas TSE2004GB2C0 is a versatile digital temperature sensor featuring user-programmable registers for flexible temperature sensing applications. It offers programmable temperature limits and hysteresis for event communication via an open-drain EVENT_n pin, which can be configured as an active-low or active-high comparator output or a temperature event interrupt. The device utilizes an industry-standard 2-wire I2C/SMBus serial interface, supporting up to eight devices on the bus. Integrated within the TSE2004GB2C0 is a 4Kbit (512 bytes) Serial EEPROM, organized into two 256-byte pages, each comprising two 128-byte blocks. This EEPROM can be selectively locked at the block level, making it ideal for storing Serial Presence Detect (SPD) data in DIMM modules.
