Product Overview

The QMA7981 is a single-chip, surface-mount, three-axis accelerometer designed for mobile and wearable smart devices. It integrates an acceleration transducer with signal conditioning ASIC to sense tilt, motion, shock, and vibration. Key applications include screen rotation, step counting, sleep quality monitoring, gaming, and personal navigation. Built on high-resolution single crystal silicon MEMS technology and a custom-designed 14-bit ADC ASIC, the QMA7981 offers low noise, high accuracy, low power consumption, and offset trimming. It supports both I2C and SPI digital interfaces and is housed in a compact 2x2x0.95mm 12-pin LGA package.
