Product Overview
The ISL76683 is an integrated light sensor with an internal integrating Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) designed for automotive applications. It offers 16-bit resolution and effectively rejects 50Hz and 60Hz flicker from artificial light sources. The I2C interface allows for user-programmable lux sensitivity ranges, optimizing counts per lux across various lighting conditions, and provides multi-function control and remote monitoring. With a normal operating power consumption under 300A and a software power-down mode reducing it to less than 1A, the ISL76683 also features twin user-programmed thresholds and a hardware interrupt. It operates on 2.5V to 3.3V supplies and is AEC-Q100 qualified for operation between -40C and +105C (Grade 2), packaged in a special extended temperature clear package.
