The ZMOD4510 Gas Sensor Platform is a 12-pin LGA module designed for detecting air quality, specifically targeting NO2 and O3 in indoor and outdoor applications. It integrates a gas sense element with a CMOS signal conditioning IC, utilizing a metal-oxide (MOx) chemiresistor and a heater on a MEMS structure. The module's firmware supports traditional and machine learning algorithms with embedded AI to determine the Air Quality Index (AQI) based on detected gases. It offers selective ozone measurement in an ultra-low power (ULP) mode and communicates results via an I2C interface. Its ultra-low operating current consumption makes it suitable for low-voltage, battery-powered applications.
