Product Overview

The ISL29101 is a low-power, voltage-output ambient light sensor designed for a wide range of applications. It integrates a photodiode array, current amplifier, and micropower operational amplifier on a single chip. Mimicking the human eye's spectral response, it peaks at 550nm and rejects UV/IR light. The sensor provides an output voltage proportional to visible light intensity from 0.5 lux to 10,000 lux, with linearity up to 30,000 lux. Features include dark current compensation for improved low-light sensitivity, an ultra-compact ODFN package, and a broad operating temperature range. Ideal for power-saving functions in mobile, computing, and consumer electronics.
