The FC-H2-5000 Long-Life Hydrogen Sensor utilizes a micro fuel cell principle for detection. Hydrogen gas molecules reach the core detection unit via natural diffusion and concentration polarization, undergoing oxidation at the positive electrode while oxygen is reduced at the negative electrode. This closed-loop reaction generates a current proportional to the hydrogen gas concentration, allowing for precise quantification. This passive sensor offers zero power consumption, low noise, high detection accuracy, long lifespan, and resistance to interference and poisoning across a wide temperature range.
