The QMI8658C is a 6D MEMS Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) featuring a motion co-processor and 9-axis sensor fusion capabilities. It offers precise orientation accuracy of 3 pitch and roll, and 5 yaw/heading when used with the XKF3 sensor fusion library. With low gyroscope noise (15 mdps/Hz), low latency, and wide bandwidth, it is suitable for demanding applications such as robotic vacuums, industrial tilt modules, pedestrian navigation, GNSS augmentation, 5G antenna stabilization, inertial navigation, and large industrial UAVs. The integrated AttitudeEngine motion co-processor performs sensor fusion at 1 kHz while outputting data at lower rates, reducing host processor load and power consumption. It supports various host interfaces including MIPI I3C, I2C, and 3-wire or 4-wire SPI.
