The FC-CO-1000 Long-Life Carbon Monoxide Sensor utilizes micro fuel cell technology for detection. When carbon monoxide is present, it diffuses to the sensor's core detection unit and undergoes an oxidation reaction at the positive electrode, while oxygen undergoes a reduction reaction at the negative electrode, forming a closed-loop system. The generated current is directly proportional to the ambient carbon monoxide concentration, allowing for precise quantification. This passive sensor employs a solid electrolyte, offering zero power consumption, low noise, high detection accuracy, long lifespan, anti-interference, anti-poisoning, and a wide operating temperature range.
