Product Overview
The OPB720A and OPB720B Series are long-distance reflective switches designed to detect objects from a distance of up to 12 inches (305 mm) with standard 90% reflective material, and can identify objects as small as 0.08 inches (2 mm). These sensors feature a synchronous driver detection scheme for ambient light compensation, providing a logical output that switches from high to low when a reflective target is present or absent, respectively. The series includes models with standard reflective switching distances of 6 inches (-06Z), 12 inches (-12Z), and 30 inches (-30VZ). The OPB720A series operates on a 10 to 30 VDC power supply, while the OPB720B series uses a 4 to 7 VDC supply. They are suitable for various applications including package recognition, security systems, and dispensing systems.
