Photologic Hermetic Sensors

The OPL800, OPL801, and OPL820 series sensors integrate a photodiode, linear amplifier, and Schmitt trigger on a single monolithic chip. The OPL810, OPL811, and OPL813 series add a voltage regulator to this configuration. These devices are hermetically sealed in a lensed TO-18 metal can. They feature TTL/LSTTL compatible logic-level outputs capable of driving multiple TTL loads without external circuitry. The Schmitt trigger's hysteresis provides excellent noise immunity. OPL800 series offers medium-speed data rates up to 250 kBaud with fast rise and fall times. These sensors are designed for applications such as non-contact reflective object sensing, assembly line and machine automation, machine safety, and end-of-travel detection.
