OMRON D6T MEMS Thermal Sensors
OMRON D6T MEMS Thermal Sensors offer contactless temperature measurement by detecting the surface temperature of objects without physical contact. Utilizing a thermopile element that absorbs radiant energy, these sensors can detect even the slightest temperature changes. Key advantages include direct temperature value output for simplified software design, world's highest-class stable temperature output, and low noise achieved through the integration of in-house designed ASICs and MEMS technology. The sensors measure wavelengths in the 8-12 m range, focusing infrared rays via a silicon lens onto a MEMS thermopile, which generates an electromotive force based on the Seebeck effect. Applications range from home appliances and HVAC systems for room temperature detection and human presence sensing to fever screening, abnormal high-temperature monitoring in industrial equipment, and general temperature measurement across various environments.
