OMRON D6T MEMS Thermal Sensors
The OMRON D6T MEMS Thermal Sensors offer contactless temperature measurement by detecting the surface temperature of objects without physical contact. Utilizing a thermopile element that absorbs radiant energy, these sensors can detect even the slightest temperature changes. They feature direct temperature value output for simplified software design and world's highest-class stable temperature output, minimizing output fluctuations for high-precision applications. The sensors combine in-house designed and manufactured ASIC and MEMS for high SNR and feature a product structure that detects wavelengths in the 8-12 m range. OMRON's unique MEMS technology integrates thermopile elements and ASICs into an ultra-compact package. Development support tools and evaluation boards are available for easy integration and evaluation.
