MTS4/MTS4B Digital Temperature Sensor IC
Product Overview
The MTS4 series are high-precision digital-analog mixed-signal temperature sensor ICs offering exceptional accuracy up to 0.1C without user calibration. Leveraging CMOS semiconductor PN junction temperature and bandgap voltage characteristics, these sensors provide accurate temperature readings through a digital bus interface. Key advantages include high accuracy, excellent consistency, fast measurement, low power consumption, flexible programmable configuration, and long operational life. The integrated 16-bit ADC delivers a resolution of 0.004C across an ultra-wide operating range of -103C to +153C. Each chip undergoes 100% factory testing and calibration, with internal automatic compensation. The I2C communication interface supports high-speed board-level applications up to 1MHz and allows for data access and function configuration via digital commands. Built-in non-volatile E2PROM stores chip ID, alarm thresholds, calibration correction values, and user-defined information like sensor node numbers and location data.
