Product Overview

The T1601X series is a family of digital-analog mixed-signal temperature sensor chips offering high accuracy up to 0.1 without user calibration. Leveraging CMOS semiconductor PN junction temperature characteristics and bandgap voltage, these chips provide precise, consistent, and fast temperature measurements with low power consumption. They feature a wide operating range from -103C to +153C, a 16-bit ADC with 0.004C resolution, and are factory calibrated. The chips utilize a single-bus (One Wire, OW) protocol for simplified communication, requiring only one GPIO port for access. This low-cost solution supports multi-node sensing and networking, allowing up to 100 nodes to be connected in series over distances of 100 to 500 meters. Integrated non-volatile E2PROM stores chip ID, alarm thresholds, calibration data, and user-defined information. Applications include replacing PT100/PT1000 and NTC solutions, electronic thermometers, cold chain logistics, smart meters, board-level temperature monitoring, industrial instrumentation, and power terminal temperature sensing.
