MYDS18B20 Digital Temperature Sensor Series
The MYDS18B20 series are mixed-signal temperature sensing chips that offer high accuracy without user calibration. Leveraging CMOS semiconductor PN junction temperature characteristics and bandgap voltage, these chips provide digital output with high precision, excellent consistency, low power consumption, flexible programmability, and long lifespan. Featuring a built-in 14-bit ADC with a resolution of 0.0125C (default 12-bit ADC with 0.0625C resolution), they operate from -55C to +125C. Each chip is 100% tested and calibrated at the factory. The single-bus protocol simplifies system integration, requiring only one GPIO port for communication. This protocol enables cost-effective, multi-node sensing networks with long transmission distances, supporting up to 100 nodes over 100-500 meters. The chips include non-volatile E2PROM for storing ID, alarm thresholds, calibration data, and user-defined information. Available in TO-92, TO-92S, SOP8, and MSOP8 packages.
