Product Overview
The MY18E20 series are digital analog mixed-signal temperature sensing chips offering high accuracy and user-friendly operation. These chips leverage CMOS semiconductor PN junction temperature and bandgap voltage characteristics, enhanced by small-signal amplification, analog-to-digital conversion, and digital calibration compensation. They provide a high-precision, consistent, low-power, and long-lifespan temperature sensing solution with flexible programmable configurations. Featuring a built-in 14-bit ADC (defaulting to 12-bit), they operate across a wide temperature range (-55C to +125C) with excellent accuracy of 0.5C within the -10C to +85C range. The single-bus protocol simplifies system integration, requiring only one GPIO port for communication and enabling cost-effective multi-node sensing networks with support for up to 100 nodes over distances of 100 to 500 meters. Integrated non-volatile E2PROM stores device ID, alarm thresholds, calibration values, and user-defined information. Available in TO-92, TO92S, SOP8, and TO-92L packages, with the TO-92L offering ESD protection up to 15000V. Applications include industrial monitoring, smart hardware, smart agriculture, instrumentation, and smart home appliances.
