MYDS18B20 Digital Temperature Sensor Series
The MYDS18B20 series are digital mixed-signal temperature sensing chips that offer high accuracy without user calibration. Utilizing CMOS semiconductor PN junction temperature characteristics and bandgap voltage, these chips provide precise temperature readings with advantages like high consistency, low power consumption, flexible programmability, and long lifespan. They feature an integrated 14-bit ADC with a resolution of 0.0125C, defaulting to 12-bit ADC at factory settings. Each chip is 100% tested and calibrated, with internal automatic compensation. The single-bus digital interface simplifies system integration, requiring only one GPIO port for communication. This protocol enables cost-effective, multi-node sensing networks with long transmission distances, supporting up to 100 nodes over 100-500 meters. Built-in non-volatile E2PROM stores chip ID, alarm thresholds, calibration data, and user-defined information. Available in TO-92, TO-92S, SOP8, and MSOP8 packages.
